Ammonium nitrate is a granulated fertilizer and has the highest use in agriculture. It is applied for most crops in all types of soils, characterized by high digestibility of nitrogen. Ammonium nitrate is notable for its increased strength of granules, good friability, flow ability, stable granulometric composition, non-caking/ compressing during storage. It is allowed to use ammonium nitrate of grade “B” and for the industry.
